Conference Volunteers

The 8th International Conference of Community Psychology would not be possible without an amazing group of enthusiastic volunteers.

If you are interested in volunteering at 2020 ICCP, please register your interest above and we will be in contact with the application form in January 2020.

Please note accepted volunteers must arrange their own transport, flights and accommodation to attend the conference.

The conference will run Friday, 26 – Sunday, 28 June 2020 in Melbourne, at the Footscray Park campus of Victoria University. We ask volunteers attend a compulsory briefing session (June 2020, exact time and date TBC). All student volunteers are expected to be available to attend the full duration of the conference as well as the briefing session.

Volunteering is a great opportunity to enjoy new social and cultural experiences, network and make friends and build confidence in a supportive environment.

Accepted volunteers will receive:

Complimentary full conference registration, including access to sessions

Morning, afternoon tea & lunch throughout the conference, including the Welcome reception.

Access to all conference resources, including all presentation slides following the conference.

Certificate of participation.

Volunteer tasks

We ask student volunteers to arrive on time, act in a friendly and welcoming manner to conference attendees, fellow volunteers and presenters. While onsite your primary role is to provide assistance to the onsite conference team. You will be asked to provide support with tasks such as directions, technical assistance, registration, queue management and door keeping.

This opportunity is available to current psychology and event management students enrolled in an Australian University. Please note conference presenters are not eligible to apply.
