Deb Gray

My values and goals align with those of Community psychology, which are to facilitate community change through community-level interventions and policy development.
This course will support me to become a community psychologist who is both a scientist and practitioner, working alongside community members, and other professionals with the goal of empowering communities to create changes across the multiple levels of society, community, school, family, individual and peer.
I am interested in policy development; mobilising communities to implement empirically supported prevention interventions that address reducing priority risk factors and increasing protective factors identified through epidemiological needs assessments; training and support; designing, planning, implementing and ongoing evaluations of evidence-based interventions; and pursuing a PhD in Multi-Level Universal Prevention Interventions for Adolescent Mental Health.
